The Administration and Finance Department consists of the Village Manager, Finance Administrator, and two Management Analysts. The department handles all day-to-day operations within the Village. The duties of the department range from processing invoices to strategic planning. The Village Manager, Patrick Brennan, provides overall direction and administration of the policies and procedures established by the President and Board of Trustees. The Village Manager also coordinates and oversees activities of all Village departments, and formulates policies, goals, and objectives in conjunction with department directors.
Finance Administrator Responsibilities
The Finance Administrator is responsible for coordinating and directing the financial activities of the Village including managing of revenue collections, controlling of expenditures, cash management and fund investment. The Finance Administrator is also responsible for coordinating the end of year audit and works with the auditors to create the annual financial report. This individual serves as the staff liaison to the Finance Committee, Village Board, and oversees the finances of each department.
