This past week, Village staff met with the project team from Inliner Solutions to review the current progress and upcoming phases of the MWRD Sewer Lining Project.
Work at the existing pit at Sheridan and Abingdon is expected to continue through the end of August, with roadway restoration to follow shortly thereafter.
In the meantime, crews will begin opening a second pit near the intersection of Sheridan and Melrose to continue cleaning operations heading north. Pipe installation from this location is scheduled to begin in September and be completed by November 8th. Roadway restoration will follow, with the Kenilworth portion of the project expected to be completed prior to Thanksgiving.
Village staff remains in close coordination with project stakeholders to minimize impacts on residents.
