Great news! The Woodstock Avenue reconstruction project is progressing efficiently. Sewer work wrapped up this week. Next week, crews will pour new curbs, gutters, and driveway aprons. Similar to this past week, the roadway will be closed during the day, from 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., to allow for the curb work to be completed safely. Signage will be in place to help direct traffic during this time. Consider alternative routes to avoid any delays.
As the concrete sets, the contractor will proceed to remove and resurface the roadway. During this portion of the work, the roadway will be fully closed. This portion of work is anticipated to begin Monday, September 29nd, weather permitting, and is expected to take two days. At this stage of the project, Roger Avenue, between Ridge Road and Brier Street, will also be repaved.
Weather permitting, the construction work is anticipated to last approximately three weeks. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we bring this much-needed improvement to the Village.
