The beginning of construction is officially here! The Woodstock Avenue reconstruction project will officially kickstart on Monday, September 15th. Once the project begins, Woodstock Avenue between Richmond Road and Cumnor Road will experience intermittent periods of closure during different phases of the project.
Beginning Tuesday, September 16th the roadway will be closed between 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for approximately three to five (3-5) days. During the second phase of the project, the roadway will be fully closed for an estimated five (5) days while the new roadway, curbs, gutters, and aprons are poured and cured. This phase of work is anticipated to begin Monday, September 22nd, pending the completion of phase 1. Additional information will be provided no later than Friday, September 19th. Signage will be in place to help direct traffic during this time. Consider alternative routes to avoid any delays.
Weather permitting, the construction work is anticipated to last approximately three weeks. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we bring this much-needed improvement to the Village.
